Industrial Development: One-year Courses completed at Industrial Training Schools

The Ministry of Industry is conducting technological training courses at six industrial training schools, aiming for industrial development, boosting industrial products, nurturing the human resources needed for MSME businesses, job creation and poverty reduction.

Closing ceremonies of No.6 and 5 Industrial Training Schools in MyinChan and Magwe took place in separate occasions on 11th November. Union Minister Dr Charlie Than attended the ceremonies and made speeches, urging the trainees to make constant learning for acquiring the modern technologies to sharpen their skills.

A total of 88 trainees have completed one-year courses on Machine, Welding, Foundry, Tool and Die, CNC, Electrical and Electronics subjects at No.6 Industrial Training School (MyinChan), while 133 training completed one-year courses on Automobile Maintenance and CAD/CAN subjects at No.5 Industrial Training Courses (Magwe).

It is learnt that over 1,000 skilled workers have been turning out annually from six industrial training schools. The training schools conduct a total of 16 industrial and vocational subjects with the assistance of international partner organizations.
