Indonesia-US bilateral meeting on Defense & Security

Indonesian Minister of defense Prabowo warmly welcomed and expressed gratitude to Lloyd James Austin for his participation in the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting Plus (ADMM+) 2023, and appreciated the support and participation of the United States in ADMM-Plus 2023.
Minister Prabowo regards the United States as a strategic partner and expresses the highest appreciation for the support and involvement provided by the U.S. In the region, especially within the framework of ADMM and ADMM-Plus.
The minister of defense extends gratitude for the enthusiasm of the U.S. Following the meeting, the signing of the Defense Cooperation Arrangement (DCA) between Indonesia and the US took place, with Minister of Defense Prabowo and Secretary of Defense Austin signing the agreement. This DCA signing aims to renew the document outlining defense cooperation between the two countries.
