Indonesia held the largest angklung musical performance

On 5th August, Indonesia held the Guinness World Record for the largest angklung musical performance that involved 15,110 participants at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium in Jakarta.

Since October 2022, the preparation for the performance has been carried out with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Indonesia attempted to break Guinness World Records of the angklung ensemble in the world. President of Indonesia Joko Widodo and Vice President also watched the event.
