Indian PM Modi welcomes BRICS foreign ministers

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed foreign ministers and senior delegates attending the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New Delhi.

During the gathering, Modi emphasized that BRICS has become an important voice for the Global South and said India would continue pushing for a more inclusive and balanced world order.

The BRICS meeting, hosted at Bharat Mandapam, included discussions on regional security, global economic cooperation, maritime stability, sanctions, and reform of international institutions. India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar also welcomed delegates and held multiple bilateral meetings with participating countries.
