India-U.S. ties see fresh push; focus on investment, digital economy

India’s Consul General Binaya Pradhan held a series of important meetings in the United States focusing on investment, digital economy and strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral investment and promoting subnational collaborations between Indian and US states. He also held talks with Navani Rajan, Chairman and Managing Director of Jetline Group, on strengthening India-US cooperation in digital commerce and linking India’s creative economy with the United States.

In another meeting, the Consul General interacted with Nivruti Rai, Chief Executive Officer of Invest India, to discuss ways to further strengthen the India-US investment track. The meetings are part of ongoing efforts to deepen economic engagement and expand cooperation between India and the United States across key sectors.
