India strengthens global economic ties at G20 finance meeting

India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday held a series of high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Asheville of North Carolina.

The meeting focused on strengthening the India-World Bank Group partnership, mobilizing private capital, digital public infrastructure and developing globally competitive tourism destinations. Sitharaman also met with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva to highlight India's strong economic performance and growth trajectory.
