India hosts BRICS Trade Union Forum 2026

The BRICS Trade Union Forum 2026 was opened in Hyderabad, bringing together labour leaders and policymakers from BRICS countries. The forum was inaugurated by Union Labour Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Telangana Labour Minister Vivek Venkataswamy as part of India’s BRICS Presidency.

The forum focused on labour cooperation, workforce skilling, employment, social security and inclusive growth. The Union Labour Minister emphasized the importance of ethical Artificial Intelligence, skill development and collaboration among governments, employers and workers to promote sustainable and inclusive employment across BRICS nations.
