India & Germany strengthen defence ties with high-level talks in Berlin

India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday arrived in Berlin on a three-day official visit aimed at deepening strategic defence cooperation between India and Germany.

During the visit, Singh will hold talks with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius and engage with key representatives of the German defence industry. The discussions are focused on promoting joint development and co-production under India’s Make-in-India initiative, as both sides seek to expand collaboration in defence manufacturing. A Defence Industrial Cooperation Roadmap and an Implementing Arrangement for cooperation in UN Peacekeeping Operations training are likely to be signed.
