India, Estonia hold talks to boost trade and technology cooperation

India and Estonia held high-level bilateral talks in Tallinn on Saturday, focusing on boosting trade, investment, and technology cooperation. Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna led the discussions, emphasizing joint development in digital identity, cybersecurity, AI and advanced manufacturing.

Goyal proposed combining Estonia's digital expertise and agility with India’s massive scale and manufacturing capabilities to create globally competitive, affordable solutions. Both nations highlighted the finalized India-EU Free Trade Agreement as a framework that will provide new avenues for economic cooperation and market access.
