India’s President Eastern Europe visit

Indian President Droupadi Murmu will undertake State Visits to Moldova, North Macedonia and Romania from 19 to 25 July to deepen India’s ties with Eastern Europe. The visits to Moldova and North Macedonia will be the first ever by an Indian President, while the visit to Romania will be the first by an Indian President in more than three decades.

Ahead of the visit, India’s Ambassador to Romania and Moldova, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra highlighted the significance of the President’s visit in further strengthening India’s diplomatic engagement and expanding cooperation with the three countries across key sectors.
