India’s Modi meets with Venezuela's interim President amid global oil crisis

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodríguez in New Delhi on Wednesday. Rodríguez’s five-day official visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties, with a heavy focus on restoring Venezuelan oil exports to India and enhancing economic cooperation.

Following their talks in New Delhi, the Venezuelan leader is expected to meet with top Indian energy industry leaders in Mumbai to negotiate specific trade and investment agreements.
