India–Japan joint military exercise concludes in Uttarakhand

The seventh edition of the India–Japan joint military exercise Dharma Guardian 2026 has concluded in Chaubattia. The two-week exercise brought together troops from the Indian Army and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force for joint operational drills and training.

Held from the 24th of February to the 8th of March, the exercise focused on counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations, along with urban warfare and combat training in complex terrain. The drills were designed to strengthen coordination and operational skills through a range of field training activities.
