Inauguration of a 150-bed Emirati field hospital in Gaza

A "150-bed" Emirati field hospital was opened in Rafah, southern Gaza, to "treat the wounded and alleviate the suffering" said the facility's Consultant General Surgery.

The hospital is one of the measures taken by the UAE to support the people of Gaza, another of which is a commitment to receive 2,000 wounded and sick people, including 1,000 wounded children. The new hospital offers "specialties such as general surgery, orthopedic surgery, pediatric surgery and intensive care".
