Immigration And Population: Union Minister Makes Inspection And Holds Meeting

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi visited the Immigration and Population Office in Myitkyina of Kachin State.

There, the Union Minister inspected national registration card digital data making and online data analysis in cooperation with Head Office in Nay Pyi Taw. He called for systematic data storage and a system when e-ID system is implemented. At Manaw Shwe Pyi Hall, the Union Minister met with officers and staff from state/district/township immigration and population offices, stressed the importance of immigration and urged them to work in line with the law.

Also, he highlighted the ongoing Pan Khin project for national registration card and household list issuance and called for preparations for the e-ID system and 2024 census. He called on the officers and staff to make efforts for successful completion of Pan Khin project.
