On 31 October, a combined team led by the Tatmadaw (Navy) captured a total of 10.2874 tonnes of illegal timbers from a wooden boat and related things at the south coast of Thankadawaw of Thechaung village and a total of 5.20 tonnes of illegal timbers from a wooden-boat and related things at the west off the coast of Tayapaing village in the Kyunsu township of Myeik district.

On 2 November, a total of 9.64 tonnes of illegal timbers was captured in Nyaunglebin and Thayawady districts.
Therefore, seven arrests (approximately 28.45 million Kyats) were made on three consecutive days from 31 October to 2 November, according to the Anti-Illegal Trade Steering Committee.
