Illegal Trade: Illegal vehicles, car accessories and timber seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 20th, 21st of 22nd of July, unregistered vehicles, undeclared car accessories, a trailer and illegal timber were seized in Pyapon township of Ayeyawaddy Region, at the Mayanchaung checkpoint in Mon State and also in Minhla and Lepadan townships.

In total, illegal vehicles, car accessories and timber worth over 74 million Kyats were seized. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
