Illegal Trade: Illegal timber, goods and vehicle seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 17th, 18th and 19th of November, illegal timber, coal, foodstuffs, linoleum, roller bearings and vehicle worth over 112 million Kyats were seized in Kyunsu township of Myeik district, at the Pauktaing Bridge Checkpoint in Dawei township, at the Asia World Port Terminal Container Checkpoint, at the Myanmar Industrial Port Container Checkpoint and in Waw township.Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
