Illegal Trade: Illegal Goods Worth Over 139 Million Kyats Seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On March 25, illegal pumps and pipes worth over 133 million Kyats at the Myanma Industrial Port, fruits worth over 1 million Kyats at MaYanChaung Check Point and vehicle spare parts worth over 4 million Kyats at 16-mile KyaukChaw Check Point were seized.

Also, on March 26, an unregistered motorcycle in Homalin Township and illegal timber over 1 million Kyats in Bago and Thayawaddy districts were seized. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
