Illegal Trade: Illegal goods, vehicles and timber seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 21st and 23rd of November, illegal mobile phones, industrial and construction materials, vehicles and timber worth over 152 million Kyats were seized at the Yangon International Airport, at the Airport Warehouse, at the Hteedan container checkpoint, at the Myanmar Industrial Port container checkpoint, at the Mau Combined Checkpoint, at the entrance gate of Magway township and in Toungoo and Nyaunglebin districts. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
