Illegal Trade: Illegal Goods, Boats And Timber Seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.
On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of August, industrial materials, pet laundry detergent, boats, fuel oil, raw chemicals and timber were seized at the Myanmar Industrial Terminal Container Checkpoint in Yangon Region and in Magway Region, in Bago Region and in Sagaing Region as well as at the Thanlwin Bridge Combined Checkpoint and in Bago and Toungoo districts and in Maungtaw Township.
In total, illegal goods, boats and timber worth over 294 million Kyats were seized. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
