Illegal Trade: Illegal commodities worth over 651 mln Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 8th and 9th of November, illegal commodities worth over 651 million Kyats were seized in Yankin Township of Yangon Region, Chanmyathazi Township of Mandalay Region and at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) Combined Checkpoint in Kayin State. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
