Illegal Trade: Illegal commodities worth over 235 mln Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of November, illegal commodities worth over 235 million Kyats were seized on the Myawaddy-Hpa-An-Yangon road, at the Asia World Port Terminal Container Checkpoint, at the Myanmar Industrial Port Terminal Container Checkpoint and at the Mayanchaung Permanent Checkpoint.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
