Illegal Trade: Illegal commodities worth over 124 mln Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 4th and 5th of November, illegal commodities worth over 124 million Kyats were seized at the Mayanchaung Permanent Check Point in Mon State, at a warehouse in Myawaddy Township and at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) Combined Checkpoint in Kayin State. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
