Howard Lutnick sworn in as US commerce secretary

Donald Trump and JD Vance sworn in Wall Street billionaire Howard Lutnick as US Commerce Secretary inside the Oval Office. The Senate confirmed Lutnick on Tuesday by a 51–45 margin. 

Howard Lutnick, US Commerce Secretary said "It is the greatest honor to work for you, to be with you, to carry your name, your leadership and your flag throughout the world."

During the swearing-in ceremony, President Donald Trump said that Lutnick's priorities in the role will be focusing on job growth, asserting that Lutnick "really understands something about business."
