Household Utensils: Wooden Handicrafts Are Marketable At Domestic Market

The handicrafts and household utensils that are made of wood are good demand in the local market according to a manufacturer and seller of the handicrafts from ThabeikKyin Township.

Various types of household utensils are being sold and the customers can order the items as they like and can also buy through online. The price of each type of products is ranged from over 1000 kyats to 1 million kyats and currently, there are online customers in local and sales are booming. The wooden household items are exported to China and Thailand as well. 

Variety of household utensils such as altars, vases, bowls, plates, coffee cups, spoons, chop-sticks, spoon boxes, toothpick bottles are made of wood and being sold. Myanma handicrafts made of wood and consumer goods are popular now.

In addition, there is a plan to hold a fair to display and sell Myanmar’s handicrafts made of wood according to the local sellers.
