Hotel and tourism sector: Regional Tourism Working Committee held a meeting

The coordination meeting (2/2022) of Rakhine State Regional Tourism Working Committee was held at the meeting room of the state government in the afternoon on July 26.

At the meeting, Chairman of Rakhine State Regional Tourism Working Committee, Chief Minister Dr. Aung Kyaw Min gave a remark on the collective efforts of all relevant departments for the achievement of regional tourism industry, awareness and precaution for the COVID-19 and full vaccination of the persons who render the services.

In line with the guideline of the head of state, preparations to be carried out for the Mrauk-U region and Ngapli beach which have great potential for the arrival of the tourists.

Next, the vice chairman of the working committee, state minister for economic affairs U San Shwe Maung clarified the implementations of the regional tourism working committee and the committee secretary head officers of state hotel and tourism department U Tin Tun Aung explained the applying license for the respective service sectors.

Then, the committee members gave suggestions for the systematic sustainable development of hotel and tourism sector in the state. Upon the suggestions, the state ministers supplemented and the state committee chairman chief minister coordinated necessaries and gave a speech of conclusion.
