Horse show at China's largest Akhal-Teke base

Urumqi, in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, boasts the nation's largest Akhal-Teke horse breeding and show base.

This breed, originating from Turkmenistan, is renowned for its exceptional speed, endurance, and intelligence. Visitors to the base can witness performances by renowned horses, including Akhal-Teke horses, Shetland ponies from Scotland, Friesian horses from the Netherlands, and camels.
