Honoring Victorious Athletes: Kachin State CM attended the ceremony

The Kachin State Government held an honorific award ceremony at the Maykha Hall of the State Government Office on September 1, to celebrate Maung Maung Sai, a bodybuilding athlete from Kachin State who won the third prize in the 19th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship and achieved fifth place representing the country in the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship, as well as the state selected futsal team that won the third prize in the Regions and States Futsal Competition.

At the honorific award ceremony, State Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan expressed, on behalf of the people of the state, his delight and pride in Maung Maung Sai, who represented Kachin State and the nation, winning medals in the Southeast Asian and Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships, bringing honor to both the country and the state, and the state selected team for achieving the third prize in the Regions and States Futsal Competition.

Following this, the State Chief Minister presented 2 million kyats of cash award to bodybuilding athlete Maung Maung Sai, who won the third prize and fifth place representing the country, and 1 million kyats to coach U Sein Myint Zaw.

Additionally, 9.1 million kyats was awarded to the state selected national futsal team that won the third prize in the Regions and States Futsal Competition. State-level departments and business owners also presented cash awards, and U La Aung, Chairman of the Kachin State Football Federation, awarded 1 million kyats to the futsal team.

Subsequently, the State Chief Minister and his wife, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, members of the State Government, state-level department officials, and responsible persons watched a demonstration by two next-generation athletes selected as state team members for the Regions and States Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Competition, who displayed their preferred bodybuilding and physique poses.

The State Chief Minister awarded 100,000 kyats each to the athletes selected for the state team and joined them for a celebratory tea party together.
