Honoring ceremony: Union Minister presented gift and cash to medal recipients

The honoring ceremony for the personnel who awarded honorary medal from the Ministry of Health was held at the Ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on Thursday.

At the ceremony, the union minister for health Dr. Thet Khaing Win expressed his thanks for the health personnel who gave healthcare services for the patients in line with the codes of conduct of the health personnel without abandoning their patients during the breakthrough of COVID-19 waves and the personnel who are still serving the healthcare duties.

The State Administration Council conferred the Ye Thura and Ye Bala medals to the health personnel who lost their life due to the terrorist attack. The conferring medals by the State Administration Council to the personnel who had loss of life shows the state’s condolence and mourning together with their families.

The Ministry of Health felt condolence and mourning together with the families and strongly condemns those who attacked the health personnel.

The persons who are conferred with the Excellence Management Medal (Second Grade) and (Third Grade) are urged to put more effort in the healthcare works with the attention for the interest of the country and the people and nurture the future generations of good healthcare personnel.

Next, the union minister for health professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win presented memorable gift and cash of honor to the personnel who were conferred with the Excellence Management Medal (Second Grade) and (Third Grade), memorable gift and cash of honor for the recipient of Ye Thura medal through director general of health department and the memorable gift and cash of honor for the recipients of Ye Balamedal through the director general of Public Health Department.
