




Hong Kong’s GDP in the first quarter showed its strongest growth in nearly five years, boosted by a 5.2% year-on-year rise in retail and food and beverage spending. Spending at non-fast food restaurants also saw an 8% increase. Tourist numbers were also encouraging, with over 14.3 million visitors in the first quarter, marking the highest level since the pandemic.
