Hong Kong to contribute in various areas under 15th Five-Year Plan

Hong Kong’s Financial Secretary Paul Chan delivered the Budget to the Legislative Council on Wednesday, saying that Hong Kong will proactively align with the national 15th Five-Year Plan to formulate Hong Kong's five-year plan.

Chen added that the 15th Five-Year Plan has given explicit support to Hong Kong in serving the overall national development, consolidating and enhancing its status as an international financial, shipping and trade center. He noted that Hong Kong can enjoy unique institutional strengths under "one country, two systems" adding that the Hong Kong government will also keep nurturing local talent, which aligns with the China's integrated development of education, technology and talent.
