Heavy Rains & Flood: Bailey Bridge, Houses Swept Away In Bago Region

Heavy rains hit Paukkhaung Township area of Pyi District in Bago Region on Saturday evening, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department.

A bailey bridge and 11 houses in Nyaungwon Village of the township were swept away by floods after the heavy rains – also, 6 houses were destroyed. Search and rescue operations are underway.
