Healthcare and Greenery Projects: Shan State CM inspected healthcare and greenery projects

On the evening of February 24, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, accompanied by the State Ministers and other officials, conducted a field inspection of the People’s Hospital and special reforestation sites in Yat Sauk .

The Chief Minister and officials toured the hospital’s X-ray room, staff housing, the laboratory, the Tuberculosis (TB) department.

The Medical Superintendent of Yat Sauk People’s Hospital provided a detailed briefing on hospital operations. The Chief Minister instructed that cleanliness and maintenance activities must be carried out every Saturday. He coordinated the necessary requirements for the hospital’s operations and presented cash of honor for the hospital, which was accepted by the Medical Superintendent.

The Chief Minister and officials, then proceeded to the Special Greenery Plantation located west of the Officer Training School in the Ba Htoo military station.

The Director of the State Forest Department provided an overview of the special plantation project at the briefing hall.

The Chief Minister inspected the thriving existing plantations and visited the designated sites for additional planting during the upcoming 2026 monsoon season.

Afterward, the Chief Minister and officials visited the Pein Chaung Dam located within the Ba Htoo military station. An official from the State Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department provided a technical briefing regarding the dam's status and water management capabilities, it’s reported.
