Health Sector: Visiting hospitals and health departments in Bago Region

On Saturday, Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win together with the departmental officials visited hospitals and health deparments in Bago Region.

At Ye Ni, Myo Hla and Swar station hospitals, the Union Minister and party oversaw the treatment process and comforted the patients. They also inspected the medical storage rooms, emergency deparments, in-patient wards, X-ray departments, laboratoray deparments and labor rooms and coordinated requirements for better healthcare service. 

Later, the Union Minister and party visited Swar Rural Health Department, met with the healthcare personnel, stressed on vaccination administration,  preventive measures for infectious diseases during rainy season and presented cash rewards.

Subsequently, the Union Minister and party visited Yedashe People's Hospital, inspected the operation of the hospital and fulfilled necessities.

In Taungoo Township, the Union Minister and party inspected the arrangements to upgrade  Kyun Kone Rural Health Department building, healthcare service provision, gave instructions on maternal and child health and provided cash awards. They also inspected the region vaccine storage room.

Upon arrival at Taungoo General Hospital, the Union Minister met with medical superintendent, specialists and healthcare personnel, instructed on systematic management of medicine and medical supplies, effective healthcare provision in line with set standards, continuous observation and learning of advancing medicine and inspected the departments.
