Health Care Services : Free medical treatment provided in Nay Pyi Taw

Free Medical Healthcare Service Program for local residents was carried out at Aung Si Tha Monastery in Pobbathiri Township.

The program was organized by the Department of Medical Treatment in collaboration with specialist doctors from Nay Pyi Taw 300-Bedded General Hospital and Tatkone 100-Bedded Hospital. Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kan Myint Than visited the venue and observed the provision of free medical treatment and healthcare services measures.

They also presented nutritious foods and medicated mosquito nets to the residents, and offered commemorative fruit baskets to the specialist doctors.

During the program, the doctors provided medical treatment and healthcare services to a total of 536 patients, including 135 general patients, 22 pediatric patients, 15 surgical patients, 81 orthopedic patients, 14 obstetrics and gynecology patients, 112 eye patients, 28 dental and oral patients, 4 physiotherapy patients, 108 X-ray examinations, and 17 ultrasound examinations.
