Green and Clean City : Cleaning campaign and renovation works

The Kayah State Government is stepping up efforts to implement a green and clean city initiative. On Saturday morning, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin inspected collective cleaning activities at the Abbot Training School in Loikaw Township, together with state government members and departmental officials.

They observed joint cleaning efforts carried out by members of the Myanmar Police Force, local battalions, Fire Brigade members, departmental staff, and local residents at the training school’s compound. During the inspection, the Chief Minister warmly greeted the participating volunteers, for their contributions.

The Chief Minister and party then oversaw the renovation works at Ayechan Aungmyin Pagoda, including gold foil offering, the bell tower, inscription stone pillars, and platform painting. They also reviewed the concrete paving at the Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja Ordination Hall. The Chief Minister called for timely and quality completion of the projects.
