Greek President Meets with Vietnamese President

Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou met with her Vietnamese counterpart on Monday during a trip to the Southeast Asian nation. Sakellaropoulou, who is on a four-day visit to Vietnam in order to boost relations, visited the captial, Hanoi, and held talks with President Nguyen Xuan Phuc. Sakellaropoulou called on countries in Mediterranean to "abstain from unlawful and destabilizing acts". She added nations in the region should responsibly contribute to resolving problems and avoiding conflicts.
