Graduation Parade : 87th Intake Pilot Course of Tatmadaw (Air)

A Graduation Parade for the 87th Intake Pilot Course of Tatmadaw (Air) took place in Meiktila on Wednesday. Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Zeya Kyaw Htin Sithu Tun Aung attended the ceremony, on behalf of the Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.

General Tun Aung took the salute of the graduation company and trainee companies, and later inspected them. The graduation company and trainee companies then marched past to salute the Commander-in-Chief (Air). Meanwhile, the training aircraft flew in formation as a salute.

This was followed by presenting the wings to the graduated pilots individually and awards to the outstanding graduated pilots for their outstanding performance and excellence in training and literature. In his graduation speech, General Tun Aung urged all to serve their duties with responsibility, while making constant training for building capacity. 

He then took the salute of the graduation company and trainee companies and left the parade ground. After the parade, the Commander-in-Chief (Air) met with the outstanding graduates and their parents and spoke words of honour. At night, a graduation dinner was held in honour of the completion of No.87th Pilot Course. The Commander-in-Chief (Air) enjoyed the dinner together with the graduated pilots, and cheered the performance of the Tatmadaw (Air) music troupe and musical performance.
