Giant Panda Birthday

Thousands of panda lovers flocked to a zoo in central China's Henan Province to celebrate the 6th birthday of a male giant panda Ling Yan.

The Zhuhai (Bamboo Sea) Wildlife Zoo in Luanchuan County prepared a special six-layer cake and a fruit platter for the beloved creature. To avoid overcrowding, visitors had been organized in groups to join the celebration. Ling Yan has been living in the Luanchuan zoo with his half brother Mai Mai since September 2020.
