



The 2022 Mid-Year Myanma Gems Emporium concluded at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.
Officials opened the price lists submitted for 1,501 to 2,150 jade lots at the sale and 519 jade lots were sold.
In the Mid-Year Myanma Gems Emporium, out of 400 pearl lots by open tender system from 20th to 21st October, 362 pearl lots were sold. 55 gems lots were sold out of 120 on 22nd October.
From 23rd to 25th October, 1,836 jade lots out of 2,150 were sold to 2,960 gems merchants. The local and foreign gems merchants will pay the prices of gems lots that were allowed to purchase at the emporium within 60 days that are set in the transaction contract.
By selling Myanmar gems and jewelleries through the emporium, there will be opportunities such as the cash flow for gems merchants, obtaining raw materials for those who operate finished gems products industry and jobs for workers in the gems sector.
