Further Cooperation: India-Myanmar Border Areas & HRD

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung received Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Vinay Kumar at the Ministry on Tuesday. They discussed peace, stability and development in the border areas so also human resource development of ethnic people.

With the fund assistance by the Republic of India, the Ministry and India have been jointly implementing Myanmar-India border areas development project in Chin State and Naga Self-Administered Zone. They also exchanged views on further cooperation between the two countries.
