Friendly Relations: Cambodian PM On A 2-Day Working Visit In Myanmar

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Samdech Hun Sen will pay a working visit to Myanmar from 7 to 8 January, at the invitation of Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

During the visit, the two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting to discuss and exchange views on matters pertaining to promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation as well as on regional matters of common interests including ASEAN. Cambodia is taking the Chairmanship of ASEAN this year, under the theme "ASEAN A.C.T.: Addressing Challenge Together”, aiming to make endeavors to promote ASEAN's spirit as a united family of Ten with a strong sense of "Togetherness" in jointly acting for results to achieve common goals.

And it will contribute more constructively to the maintenance and enhancement of regional and global peace, stability, and sustainable development. Cambodia also announced plan to hold two major side events - the ASEAN Global Dialogue on Post-Covid-19 Comprehensive Recovery and the 2nd ASEAN Women Leaders' Summit on entrepreneurship.
