The railway company is also offering all passengers free rides on light rail and MTR bus routes running in the Northwest New Territories. Meanwhile, children can take advantage of free journeys during the daytime provided by bus companies KMB and Long Win. Trams were packed with people who enjoyed the free trips.
Many indoor and outdoor public leisure facilities are free, including public museums and swimming pools. For movie lovers, 60 cinemas are offering half-price film tickets. The food and beverage sector also provided a series of discounts and concessions to celebrate National Day.
