France sets world record for the largest cheese fondue

In the Jura region of France, a new Guinness world record was set for the largest cheese fondue ever prepared. The event, held at Fort des Rousses, drew over 5,000 attendees despite challenging weather conditions. The goal was to surpass Switzerland's previous record and secure a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. The record was officially validated with a volume of 2 cubic meters and a weight of 2,177.5 kilos, as confirmed by referee Anouk de Timary.
