Football Tournament : MKBA U-23 Youth Cup 2026 in Myitkyina

The MKBA U-23 Youth Cup 2026 kicked off at Myitkyina University with a lively opening ceremony attended by the Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and state officials.

Organized by the MKBA Youth Committee, the tournament will be run from July 23 to August 25, with the participation of 20 youth teams from local churches. The Chief Minister highlighted that the competition will help discover fresh young talent and inspire athletes to aim for international achievement while playing with discipline and fairness.

The opening day featured ribbon-cutting, a 5 million kyat donation to the organizing committee, cultural performances, and the first clash between the Jaw Masat  Youth Team and the Man Khein  Youth Team.
