FMs of South Korea and Canada meet in Seoul

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly held talks with her South Korean counterpart Park Jin in Seoul on Saturday. The ministers reconfirmed their commitment to cooperating in the Indo-Pacific region.

They also agreed to strengthen security cooperation against North Korea's threats. North Korea on Friday said it flight-tested a solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile for the first time. The launch is a possible breakthrough in its efforts to acquire a more powerful, harder-to-detect weapon targeting the continental United States.
