The first man to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in the UK has died of an unrelated illness. William "Bill" Shakespeare, 81, was the second person in the UK to receive a coronavirus vaccine outside a clinical trial. Shakespeare, who died after suffering a stroke, received the jab at Coventry University Hospital last December. The father-of two and grandfather-of-four died peacefully last Thursday in Coventry.
