Fire Extinguishing Drills: Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Measures Demonstrated

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut, together with officials, visited Myanmar Fire Brigade Headquarters in Yangon on Saturday, and observed the displays of ancient fire engines at the museum.

They also viewed the work processes for 191 Report and Dispatch Order System, e-Watching Tower System, Vehical Tracking System, 3G Network Radio System and e-Office at the Command and Control Center.

They later enjoyed the demonstration of Fire Brigade members on individual skill as well as fire distinguishing, rescue and emergency medical services.

The Union Minister later met with the fire brigade and auxiliary members, and urged them to support in implementation for stability of the state and development.

The Union Minister and party later proceeded to Yangon Region Fire Services Department Office (Sule) and inspected the fire engines and equipment.

They also looked into the demonstration of fire brigade members on fire extinguishing and rescue measures. Cash rewards were also presented to the fire brigade and auxiliary members.
