Finnish ambassador on outcomes of Finnish PM’s China visit

Finland's Ambassador to China Mikko Kinnunen briefed media on the outcomes of Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo's four-day visit to China which concluded on Wednesday. Speaking to journalists at the Finnish Embassy in the Chinese capital Beijing on Wednesday, Kinnunen said the two countries enjoy a solid relationship, and that the prime minister’s visit was aimed at deepening mutual understanding and fostering more cooperation.

Finland was among the earliest countries to establish diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China. Prime Minister Orpo’s visit reaffirmed the political trust built over more than seven decades of bilateral ties.
