FIFA President Gianni Infantino’s address at the 73rd FIFA Congress

During the first electoral congress of FIFA taking place in Africa, President Gianni Infantino highlights some of the achievements over recent years and discusses some of the projects scheduled for the next four years, with the goal to make football truly global.

Infantino reviews some of the promises made at the start including hosting “the most beautiful FIFA Women’s World Cup”, to “strengthen FIFA” in light of COVID, and to “increase our revenues”. President Infantino discusses the money invested in FIFA before his election and compares to the money and development programmes FIFA have injected and invested in football now as he enters his second term as President.
